WORD Day activities by Reumajoven Mexico (March 15, 2021 to March 26, 2021)
1) To share children’s experiences: We will post in social media short videos of children with rheumatic diseases sharing their experiences having a rheumatic disease. They will answer questions such as: How they feel, how they define arthritis/lupus/other, how would they describe a disease flare, what they would like to say to another children with the same disease, etc.
2) To share information on social media about rheumatic diseases in children: Some people believe rheumatic diseases do not exist in children, we will be sharing information on FACEBOOK LIVE about Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis, Childhood Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, Kawasaki diseases and other systemic vasculitides, Scleroderma, antiinflammatory syndromes and Juvenile Dermatomyositis. Each session will be of 30-40min and 10 extra minutes to answer questions of patients and families.
